Maria Godley, Commercial Director of Data and R&D at Alliance Medical Group, has been named as a member of the judging panel for the Private Healthcare Awards 2026, bringing over three decades of experience across clinical science, diagnostic imaging, hospital operations, and strategic healthcare leadership to the evaluation of healthcare excellence across Ireland's private healthcare sector.

Godley's career spans the full breadth of healthcare delivery and management. She served as Chief Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager, Operations Manager, and Hospital Manager of University Hospital Kerry before moving into executive roles within Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging, where she held regional board responsibility as Regional Operations Director for the Southern region and served as a board member of an AMDI joint venture.

In her current role at Alliance Medical Group, she works with pharmaceutical and MedTech industries to advance initiatives in Real-World Evidence, precision medicine, and patient pathway optimisation, positioning her at the frontier of medical innovation and the data-driven transformation of healthcare delivery.

Her academic credentials reinforce a career defined by continuous professional development alongside operational leadership. Godley holds an Executive MBA from UCD Smurfit School, a Masters in Biomedical Science, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, qualifications that reflect a commitment to operational excellence in healthcare and strategic thinking that extends across clinical, commercial, and managerial domains.

That combination of scientific grounding, executive education, and process improvement expertise gives her panel contribution a breadth that spans the clinical and commercial dimensions of private healthcare in Ireland.
