First Medical Consultants has opened a new clinic in Salford, Greater Manchester, expanding its diagnostic capabilities and private healthcare services in the region. The Tuesday 13 October 2026 opening adds a further site to a network built around fast-turnaround consultations and a central digital booking platform.
FMC offers private GP consultations, private phlebotomy and blood profiling, microsuction ear care, 12-lead resting ECGs, occupational medical assessments and driver medicals for professional drivers. The group cites more than 500 verified five-star Google reviews.
At Salford, private blood testing covers wellness profiles, full blood counts, hormone panels, cholesterol screenings and thyroid function evaluations with accelerated laboratory turnaround. A 12-lead ECG service is now operational at every FMC clinic site, covering arrhythmia detection, chest symptom evaluations and routine occupational medical clearance.
“Our new Salford site reflects our fundamental mission: making high quality, professional healthcare prompt and uncomplicated,” a spokesperson said, adding that the expanded infrastructure gives patients definitive answers without appointment delays.
Beyond Salford, the provider maintains clinics in Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington and Rochdale, with its Manchester sites spanning Airport, Deansgate, Longsight and Trafford Park, and a further clinic in Stoke-on-Trent. Its Rochdale clinic sits at The Old Fire Station on Maclure Road, and its Warrington clinic at Cinnamon Park. The group’s website lists seven-day opening, including weekends and bank holidays.
Patients and corporate clients can check clinic times and consult a clinician through the central private GP booking platform, with the services designed for same-day and walk-in access.
The structural driver is demand for accessible, fast-turnaround medical consultations, which the group is meeting by combining diagnostics, walk-in access and multi-site coverage under one booking platform.
For the sector, the opening confirms that independent diagnostic providers are expanding regional clinic networks around standardised services and centralised digital booking that lets patients and corporate clients arrange appointments in one place.
