Belgian REIT backs €26.5m cancer centre in Limerick
Aedifica is investing €26.5 million to build a state-of-the-art cancer centre in Limerick under a 30-year triple net lease indexed to CPI, delivering an initial net rental yield of 7%. The facility will include radiotherapy bunkers, a planning CT scanner, infusion bays, and support areas, operated by Cork Radiation Oncology Associates – a joint venture between US-based UPMC and Bon Secours Health System. Both operators are major US healthcare groups with strong Irish footprints. This move signals Aedifica’s strategic diversification into new healthcare segments and strengthens ties with international operators. Construction is set for completion by late 2026.
