Orlando Health Network expands care models and provider network in 2025

Orlando Health Network, a private not-for-profit healthcare system based in Orlando, Florida, expanded its provider network and introduced new value-based care models across Florida’s East Coast and Central Alabama in 2025.

Since its launch in 2013, the multi-state network has generated nearly $544 million (€465 million) in cumulative healthcare savings for patients, payers, employers and taxpayers, according to its Clinically Integrated Network Value Report 2025.

The network, which serves over 350,000 patients across Central, West and East Florida and Alabama, now operates with more than 9,000 multispecialty providers. In 2025 alone, Orlando Health added 300 providers in Florida’s East Coast region and 1,100 in Central Alabama, supporting its growth into new markets.

“This year’s report reflects more than growth — it showcases transformation,” said Martin Soto, MD, board chairperson of Orlando Health Network. “As our network expanded, we built new care models that enable us to continue delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients in the communities we serve in collaboration with our dedicated providers.”

Orlando Health enhanced post-discharge care through its Support Team for Aftercare and Resources (STAR) Outpatient Centers, which added new locations to reduce hospital readmissions and unnecessary emergency department visits. The Hospital Support Specialist team ensures follow-up appointments are confirmed, prescriptions are delivered, and patients can access their records through the MyChart portal.

The system also implemented an AI-powered platform to generate clinical notes from patient-provider conversations. Clinicians reported improved efficiency, reduced administrative burden, and less task fatigue, allowing more personalised patient care.
