NUA Healthcare secures approval for Meath residential care development

NUA Healthcare Services, one of Ireland's largest private providers of residential and supported living services, has secured planning permission from Meath County Council for a community residence development at Flemington Road, Gormanston. The project involves converting an existing dwelling to a community residence alongside substantial redevelopment works on the site.

Irish Independent reported that the plans include demolition and removal of an existing rear extension, shed and greenhouse, with construction of a new rear extension to the dwelling. The development will include five one-bedroom residential care units on the site.

The permission also provides for revised site access, updated layout and landscaping works, and installation of a new wastewater treatment system, together with all associated site works. The Gormanston development forms part of continued expansion of community-based residential care services in County Meath.
