Healistic, a UK e-prescribing and medication fulfilment platform for private healthcare professionals, has reported 40-fold growth since its early customer base and now serves clinicians across every major UK private hospital group.

Healistic is a London-based healthtech company founded by Daniel Bulkin, enabling private clinicians to issue digital prescriptions fulfilled and delivered through a nationwide pharmacy network. The platform covers controlled drugs in Schedules 2 to 5 alongside standard medications, providing a single workflow for prescriptions that would otherwise require separate processes. 

Healistic has raised approximately $2.42 million in total disclosed funding; revenue is not publicly disclosed. Users include independent Harley Street specialists and consultants across all major UK private hospital groups. 

The structural driver is the infrastructure gap in UK private prescribing. Electronic prescribing in NHS settings has been mandated and standardised for over a decade; private prescribing has remained fragmented, paper prescriptions, individual pharmacy relationships and disconnected systems operating without a common standard. 

That fragmentation creates measurable clinical and administrative risk: private patients frequently take prescriptions between multiple pharmacies seeking stock, while clinicians manage post-consultation prescription handling manually. Healistic resolves both problems by digitising prescription creation and routing fulfilment through a managed pharmacy network, removing the stock and logistics burden from both clinician and patient.

The 40x growth figure, across a period of significantly increased private healthcare utilisation following NHS waiting list pressure, reflects both market growth and platform capture of market share from manual processes rather than from competing digital platforms. 

The addressable market is the entire UK private prescribing base, estimated at approximately 7 to 8 million private outpatient consultations annually, against which Healistic's penetration, even at this growth rate, remains early stage.

For the sector, Healistic's adoption across every major UK private hospital group confirms that e-prescribing infrastructure has reached the threshold of becoming a standard operational expectation in private healthcare rather than a differentiating feature.
