Falcon Greencare launches in Andover with ambitions to move into regulated home care provision

According to the Andover Advertiser, Falcon Greencare was incorporated in January 2026 and is designed to bring together healthcare recruitment expertise with future regulated care provision across Hampshire and surrounding areas.

The business is led by Pamela Bruce, a healthcare recruitment entrepreneur with a track record of building national staffing operations. Bruce previously founded Nurses Direct in Andover in 2002 before establishing Nurseplus in 2005, which she said grew to more than 50 branches across the UK.

Bruce described the launch as a defining moment in her professional journey. "This represents a full circle moment in my career," she said, noting that Andover was where her path in the healthcare sector first began more than two decades ago.

The move into home care provision reflects broader demand pressures across the UK private healthcare and social care landscape, where an ageing population and workforce shortages have intensified competition among providers seeking to deliver community-based services outside hospital settings. Regulated home care, encompassing personal care, medication support and clinical interventions in domestic settings, represents one of the fastest-growing segments within the wider private healthcare market.
