Duality secures £4.5m to expand private gp services & launch virtual care across uk

Newry-based Duality Healthcare has raised £4.5m in Series A funding to grow its network of clinics, roll out virtual care services nationwide, and upgrade patient-facing digital systems—creating up to 80 new jobs. Founded in 2017 by John McEvoy and Dr Declan Morgan, Duality is Northern Ireland’s largest private GP provider, offering seven-day access, same-day urgent care, women’s health services, diagnostics, and digital prescriptions. The investment will fuel expansion into new locations in 2025–2026 and support its mission to deliver affordable, accessible, high-quality primary care that complements NHS services.
