Dr. Morepen signs VIT Bhopal MoU to launch campus health centre network across India

Indian healthcare services company Dr. Morepen has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vellore Institute of Technology Bhopal to establish a fully integrated health centre on the university campus, marking the first step in a planned national rollout of campus-based healthcare facilities across India's education and corporate sectors.

According to Big News Network, the Dr. Morepen Health Centre at VIT Bhopal will serve a community of more than 17,000 students, teaching and non-teaching staff and their families. Services will include medical consultations, day care and minor procedures, emergency care support for non-critical cases, on-campus pathology and diagnostics, a dedicated pharmacy, preventive health check-ups and student wellness programmes.

VIT Group founder and chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan said the partnership addresses a clear need within the university community. "Dr. Morepen Centre will take care of their health, not only the students, but also the teachers, non-teaching staff and their families. We have more than 17,000 students studying there and they are from various parts of India. Now we have to take care of their health."
