Claudia McGloin, Regenerative Medicine and Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner at The Regenerative Expert Nurse, has been named as a member of the judging panel for the Private Healthcare Awards 2026, bringing over 28 years of nursing experience, including more than 16 years in medical aesthetics, to the evaluation of healthcare excellence across Ireland's private healthcare sector.

McGloin is widely regarded as a leading authority in Platelet-Rich Plasma practice in Ireland, a specialism she has advanced through clinical protocol development, international education, and a sustained commitment to patient safety standards that extends across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

She developed a PRP competency framework in collaboration with the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses and contributes to patient safety initiatives at national and international levels, including advisory input to the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners, Safety in Aesthetics, and The Menopause Network.

Her role as an Advisory Contributor for the Regenerative Aesthetic Medicine Institute further reflects her standing as a practitioner whose influence on clinical standards reaches well beyond her own practice.

Moreover, her contribution to the academic and clinical discourse in aesthetic medicine is equally considerable. McGloin authors a monthly column for Aesthetic Medicine, produces a regular research round-up for the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing, and serves on that journal's editorial board, alongside peer-reviewed publications that have helped shape evidence-based practice in regenerative aesthetics.

As an established international speaker, she has presented at leading conferences including FACE London, Dubai Derma, The Aesthetic Show, and the International Congress of Aesthetic Dermatology, with ongoing contributions to global meetings across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. As a Key Opinion Leader, she continues to shape how healthcare professionals approach clinical training and protocol development in regenerative medicine.

McGloin joins a panel that includes Karen Charnley of the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care, Caroline Moran of Hibernian Healthcare at Home, Richard Morton of MatchMedics, Declan O'Callaghan, retired Medical Director, Vishnu Renjith of RCSI, Brid Seoighe of Johnson and Johnson, and John Sweeney of HCI.
