Chase Lodge Group has opened Haringey Hospital, converting the former Medipark Clinic into a private hospital serving patients across Haringey and neighbouring areas including Highgate, Muswell Hill, Tufnell Park, Archway and Islington. The site becomes the group's second North London hospital alongside its existing facility in Mill Hill.

Haringey Hospital offers GP appointments from £49, alongside ADHD and autism assessments, vaccinations, MRI, imaging and other diagnostic services under one roof. ADHD assessments are provided under the supervision of Dr Ibrahim Yahli, chief executive of Chase Lodge Group, whose background includes work as a consultant psychiatrist within the NHS before founding and growing private healthcare facilities across London.

Consultants in dermatology, gastroenterology and plastic surgery are able to take appointments at both the Mill Hill and Haringey locations, giving the new site access to specialist capacity built up at the group's established hospital.

The hospital is also positioned to serve North London's diverse communities, with services available in Albanian, Turkish and Kurdish.

The structural driver behind the launch is continued pressure on NHS waiting times pushing demand toward lower-cost private GP and diagnostic access points, with group ownership allowing a converted clinic site to draw on an established specialist referral network rather than building clinical capacity from scratch.

For the sector, the opening confirms that smaller private hospital groups are expanding through low-cost conversion of existing clinic sites rather than new-build development.
