The Women in Healthcare Award recognises the exceptional achievements of women who have made significant contributions to the healthcare industry over the last 18 months. The judges will be looking for women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and excellence in their roles, and who have broken down barriers to pave the way for future opportunities for women in the sector. The individual can be nominated by themselves or anyone within their organisation but ensure that you have the permission of the nominee before making the submission.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Career Summary: Provide a concise overview of your professional journey within the healthcare industry, highlighting key roles, accomplishments, and milestones.
  • Leadership & Innovation: Demonstrate examples of your leadership abilities and innovative thinking within the healthcare sector. Showcase how you have inspired others, driven positive change, and introduced novel ideas or solutions that have positively impacted patient care or organisational efficiency
  • Professionalism: Showcase your commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct in all aspects of your work within the healthcare industry. Highlight your adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Impact: Highlight the tangible impact of your contributions to the healthcare sector over the past 18 months. Illustrate how your efforts have made a difference in improving patient outcomes, advancing healthcare practices, or breaking down barriers for women in the industry.
  • Supporting Testimonials: Include testimonials from colleagues or senior professionals connected to the nominee, endorsing the leadership, innovation, and excellence they have demonstrated in their role.
