This award recognises the private healthcare facility, or organisation with an internal logistics division, that has made exceptional progress over the past 18 months through innovations in its supply chain or the adoption of best supply chain practices.
Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Supply Chain Overview and Scope: Provide a concise overview of your organisation's supply chain, detailing its key components, stakeholders, geographic reach, and scale within the healthcare industry.
- Supply Chain Implementation: Describe the implementation process of supply chain strategies, technologies, or practices within your organisation, highlighting innovations, and challenges overcome.
- Progress and Achievements: Present measurable progress and achievements made within the supply chain, including key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and benchmarks that indicate success and improvement.
- Impact on Operations: Demonstrate the impact of supply chain improvements on the overall operations of your organisation, including enhancements in responsiveness, reliability, and quality of service delivery.
- Risk Management and Resilience: Discuss strategies implemented to manage risks and ensure resilience within the supply chain, particularly in response to unforeseen events.
