This award recognises organisations providing healthcare services in Ireland that demonstrate outstanding commitment to patient care within their healthcare services. Entries should showcase initiatives and practices that enhance the wellbeing of patients and improve overall care quality.
Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Patient-Centric Planning and Strategy: Describe the patient care initiative and its purpose. Why was this initiative implemented, and how does it benefit patients?
- Initiative Implementation: Detail the strategies used to implement the initiative and achieve its aims and objectives. How were patient care standards improved?
- Excellence in Patient Care: Explain why the initiative deserves recognition for its impact on patient care. Provide examples of outstanding achievements.
- Challenges: Explain challenges that were experienced and how they were overcome, and the successes achieved. What lessons were learned?
- Patient Feedback and Satisfaction: Highlight mechanisms for gathering patient feedback and measuring satisfaction levels. Discuss how patient feedback is used to drive improvement initiatives and enhance the overall patient experience within your organisation.
